ALTA Survey

American Land Title Association Survey

An ALTA survey is used primarily for commercial properties.  An ALTA/ACSM checklist is provided to the client to choose from the many options available.  The items vary from standard survey items to building heights and topography and others.

An ALTA Survey is one of the most stringent, and thus involved, surveys that a land surveyor may perform. This type of survey includes on the ground considerations as well as below ground considerations. Additionally, information of encumbrances and zoning are also included beyond the typical requirements.
