When a survey is completed, it shows all relevant information at the time of the survey. Some people will reuse the same survey for many years but once a change has been made to the proprety, it's recommended that a new survey be made. This includes adding an addition to the house or adding a fence. At Roome Land Surveying, we recommend getting a new survey when there are any changes to avoid the cost of future property disputes and other unforseen issues.

If Roome Land Surveying did the survey on your property and you believe their is an issue with the survey, dont be afraid to contact us, as we will work with you to resolve any issues.

It's not required to be home during the survey but our field crews will need access to the backyard or any other piece of the property that could be locked.

There are a lot of variables that determine how long the field crews will be on your property. (type of survey, foliage, terrain, weather, etc.) However, the majority of surveys will be completed within 2 hours.

Usually you'll receive the survey within 24 hours once the field work has been completed. If there is a time constraint we will work with you to ensure you get your survey on time.

Sometimes there are instances where our field crews will need to dig a "plug" in the yard to locate accurately a property corner. In most cases, our crews will only need to locate your property corners, however ther are also instances where our field crews will need to locate your neighbors property corners in order to accurately perform the survey on your property.
